Octupus Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 kg 200 g octopus
  • 3 fresh tomatoes
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 3 tsp olive oil
  • 50 g chopped parsley
  • 2 lemons
  • 1/2 tsp harissa
  • 2 L. water

Preparation

  • For an hour and on a high flame, cook the octopus after adding salt and the juice of 1 squeezed lemon to the water.
  • Let it cool down, cut the octopus into pieces and season with a sauce made of harissa and minced garlic, oil and chopped parsley.
  • Garnish the dish with slices of tomatoes.
