Omek Houria: Spicy carrots salad


  • 6 carrots
  • 1 tbsp of Harissa
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp of tuna in oil
  • (Some ground coriander) optional
  • "Soleil de Carthage" olive oil


  • Peel carrots and cut them into rings. Leave them to boil in salted water, for about 30 minutes, until they are tender. Drain them then mash them roughly with a fork.
  • Season with some ground coriander (optional), add on the tuna, Harissa, 4 tbs of "Soleil de Carthage olive oil and stir. Everything has to be shiny. Decorate with hard boiled eggs and olives.
